Jamakhan - Cross Handwoven Cushion
What it is?
The Tiipoi JAMAKHAN Cross cushion is inspired by Bhavani ‘Jamakkalams’ - the colourful, graphic and often oversized floor-coverings used in homes and at weddings and public events in and around the region of Tamil Nadu in southern India. This cushion is a contemporary take on this original and iconic textile and was created in collaboration with textile designer Sagarika Sundaram and features a simple four-square pattern hand-woven out of high-grade Erode cotton. Tiipoi's Jamakhan cushion is hand-dyed for a softer fade-proof finish.
How It's Made?
This collection is made from high-grade Erode cotton yarn and hand-dyed the old-fashioned way in the neighbouring town of Karur. The result is a long-lasting and soft product that is also fade-proof.
How to care for it?
Avoid direct exposure to sunlight for too long. Dry clean only.
